IDC4 MARINE 7 is crammed with new features, both software and diagnostic. Furthermore, many updates have been made concerning diagnosis already included in previous versions, to offer, once again, all its customers maximum support and all the information necessary for competent interventions on marine engine electronic systems.

DIAGNOSIS DEVELOPMENTS
The most important news we would like to announce is that three new makes have been added to the MARINE 7 database: “CATERPILLAR”, “HYUNDAI SEASALL” and “TOHATSU OUTBOARDS”.

In particular, CATERPILLAR will support a new operating function in order to carry out adjustments: the SPECIAL CODE via WEB. The adjustments that can be carried out for this make require:

- The owner of the tool to sign the WEB SPECIAL CODE form, where she/he declares to have the technical knowledge required to carry out such operations;
- An Internet connection at the time the diagnosis operation is carried out.

Among the new diagnostic features in this version, we wish to highlight the following:

CUMMINS MERCRUISER DIESEL
the database has been updated and the LEVER CONFIGURATION system has been added to all engines of this make.
FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies)
the database and diagnosis have been updated.
HONDA MARINE
we have added the outboard engines “BF250A”, “BF40E” and the relative FUEL INJECTION systems.
MERCRUISER
we have added the following engines and the relative INJECTION systems: “2.8L D-TRONIC”, “350 MAG TBI”, “4.2L D-TRONIC”, “454 MAG MPI MCM”, “454 MAG MPI MIE”, “454 TBI”, “5.7L TBI MCM”, “5.7L TBI MIE”, “5.7L TBI REPOWER PLUS”, “502 MAG MPI”, “7.4L MPI”, “7.4L TBI”, “BLACK SCORPION (5.7L)” and “BLACK SCORPION (6.2L)”.
MERCURY
we have added the outboard engine “150 EFI (3.0L) 4 Stroke”, year of manufacture from 2012 onward.
SEA-DOO (BRP)
we have added the SPECIAL FUNCTION to carry out "Key registration with Key Adapter” for all PWC models manufactured before 2009.
VM MOTORI: we have added onboard engines “2.8L D-TRONIC” and “4.2L DTRONIC”, and updated the database and the diagnosis.
VOLVO PENTA
we have added engine “D3-D” and relative diagnosis, as well as the serial diagnosis for certain engines equipped with the control unit, “Volvo Penta EGC System”.

NEW SOFTWARE FUNCTIONS
UNITS OF MEASUREMENT
From version 7 the dynamic units of measurement have been introduced. This very useful function allows you to set, based on the geographical are you are in, the correct units of measurement that will appear afterwards in the diagnosis. They will have to be set during the first diagnosis session carried out with the new version and they can then be changed from the menu “SERVICE PROGRAMS” in the section SETTINGS.
